While raising miniature dachshunds is a family tradition, we wanted something else. We've always liked sighthounds. With the whippets we can show AKC, race and or lure course, which will keep the whole family involved. We purchased Hatter and Mitzi from Carole Greene (Wolfram Way) in Bristol, TN. They have been a real joy and addition to our family. We starting showing on a limited basis in May 2007. We have a lot of fun, and made several new friends. Hatter has now graduated from Basic Obedience, 2 sessions of agility and will be competing in Rally & Obedience along with lure coursing/racing.
Hatter now has 8 AKC points Hatter & I earned his Rally Novice Title the first weekend of November '07 48 ASFA Lure coursing points 1st leg of his JC 1st leg of his CD
Mitzi is starting her show career with a bang! She really is starting to love the show ring and strut her stuff. 1st AKC show ever was the South Central Regional Specialty in OKC June 28-July 1st & Mitzi won the Sweeps Class on Saturday
Mitzi now has 1 AKC pt She also won Best of Breed on 4-12-08 With very limited showing, Owner handled 1st leg of JC
Fay is coming out of her shell, she is starting to show really well. She still loves running and we are working on getting her working the lure. She has been through a basic obedience class.
